The Body Model Version 2.0

The Body model

The Body Model is part of a project with the ultimate aim of providing objective feedback on how changes in diet and exercise can affect the time taken to achieve a targeted weight loss.

The Body Model is simple to use, click on the "I Agree" button below to agree to our terms and conditions, enter your details, and click on the "Go Calculate" button at the bottom of the page.

A series of calculators are currently being developed and refined, including

Body Fat Ratio Calculator

Body Mass Index Calculator

Basal Rate Calculator

Back to the calculators home page

In the initial phases of The Body Model project, the model will be based only on estimates of the balance between food energy levels taken in and energy burnt through exercise. In the later phases, we hope to be able to identify the effectiveness of other factors such as supplements, special diets and exercise types. Obviously, the key ingredient for these latter phases will be feedback from the users - so please provide us with some feedback to help us make this project a success.

If you would like to know more about the model and how to use it, click on our model introduction page here. Use the model by testing different diet and exercise scenarios to identify how subtle changes may make a difference in achieving a targeted weight loss.

The response to the first "Body Model" was amazing, thank you for your feedback and support. But, as always, to make the model to work better it needs your input, so please contact us to make a suggestion – even if it is only another meal choice option. Early contributors with usefull suggestions will be given special privilages to the website in later phases of the project.

Before using the model however, you must understand that we are not providing advice and the model can only be used for indicative purposes only.
